    Hello Mark

The draft of the second Amended Finance Bill for 2012 was definitively adopted by the French Parliament on 31 July 2012.
Despite recommendations made by the Cour des comptes for an increase in the standard rate of VAT for reasons of balance of the financial horizon 2013 and a generalization of the increase in rates in the European Union, the increase in the rate of VAT from 19.6% to 21.20% which should apply to October 1, 2012 has been repealed.
