Italy Plans to Postpone VAT Hike to July 2013

Prime Minister Mario Monti’s government may postpone a 2 percentage points increase of the value-added tax planned for October to July 2013, news agency Ansa reported, citing a draft of a decree law that is being discussed at a cabinet meeting today.
